How I Succeeded with the Elite Weight Loss Package by Anne Evans

My Childhood Years
This is my story - so sit back and relax while I tell you the story of my life. As a child I was always 'chubby' although, back then, it was described as 'puppy fat'. My parents firmly believed that, after the austerity of the war years, if your baby was chubby and showing rolls of fat, it revealed how well the child was being cared for. This was not some mistaken belief held by my parents alone, but a universal concept, reinforced by the free orange juice provided by baby health clinics at the time and the growing emphasis on formula feeds. As a fat baby - and I have a photograph of me at the age of around four months with more love handles than a Toby jug - I grew into a chunky toddler and then into a chubby little girl. Most of the fat located itself around my tummy area: my arms and legs looked just the same as everybody else's did and even my face wasn't particularly fatter than others - but, my body was!
Of course, my mother got around this by showing off her dressmaking skills - which, I must admit, were good. I remember that, at the age of seven years old I was invited to a party and my mother got out her trusty Singer sewing machine and made me the most gorgeous party dress in white organza, sprigged with little blue flowers, finished off with a pleated cummerbund in a matching blue. How I loved that dress! It still didn't detract from the fact that I was, by today's standards, an overweight child who was destined to grow into an overweight teenager and then into an overweight adult.
An Overweight Adult
I didn't have much knowledge, back then, of calories and metabolism and what makes you fat. I don't think people thought too much about it then. The trend slowly changed, however, and I became caught up in a continuing spiral of yo-yo dieting: at my lowest I actually reached my target weight but then something would happen in my life to trigger off a return to eating - and, off I would go, gaining weight again! At my heaviest I was 230lbs but, following a relationship breakup which indirectly was attributed to my weight, I decided that enough was enough - inside this fat body was a slim person, absolutely resolute on becoming slim and staying there. The trouble is, where should I start?
Finding a Slimming Programme
This is where I found my biggest break - for once in my life I was in the right place at the right time. I went online and, to my surprise found the 'Elite Weight Loss Package'. I was really sceptical because I thought 'Been there, done that....'. However, I decided that, since I had nothing to lose, I would give it a try. After all, it wasn't expensive - just $9.95 - and I could pay that through my Paypal account which made it really easy because I didn't have any of those plastic cards, not even a debit card, because I had cut them all up a few months earlier on an economy drive to not overspend.
What really caught my eye, first of all, was the bright cerise colour of the website. I thought it looked so attractive and, somehow [I don't know why] this website seemed to reflect exactly how I was feeling - don't ask me how, because I don't really know: I just know I was attracted to the look of the website with its lovely colouring and a picture of a glass of fruit smoothy surrounded by the freshest looking soft fruits you can imagine. Well, I thought that, if the diet consisted of something as refreshing looking as that, I was all for it. I logged straight into my Paypal account and paid for it there and then.
Slimming in 3 Steps
After paying for my membership to the 'Elite Weight Loss Package' I settled down to get to know the weight loss package I had just bought. Firstly, the members' only page provides you with three steps, the first of which advises you to bookmark your page. The next step offers you a link to download Adobe Reader. The third step is the juicy bit - what you have paid for. It is an e-book produced by Craig Woods who is a fitness trainer and personal weight loss advisor to many celebrities who uses his knowledge of physiology to help you lose weight in the healthiest way possible. Basically, if you follow his instructions you will lose weight - there is no doubt about it. Losing weight requires discipline so really, it is up to you: how much losing weight matters to you.
Reducing to a Healthy Weight will Prolong your Life
The trouble is, I was at my doctor's surgery the other day and a young friend of ours came in for an emergency appointment. I had known him for years and, in all that time he has been super morbidly obese. True, when I saw him this time it was clear that he had lost quite a lot of weight but he was still morbidly obese. This friend of ours had been having pains in his chest all the previous night. The doctor, at the surgery, carried out an ECG and it turned out that our friend had suffered a massive myocardial infarct - in everyday language, that is the kind of heart attack caused by part of the blood vessels that nourish the heart becoming blocked, causing some of the heart muscle to be deprived of oxygen.
Our friend was put on oxygen and the paramedics were called to rush him to the coronary care unit of the nearest hospital - he was only 37 years old and, had his body not been under so much stress from the amount of weight he was carrying around, there is every likelihood that he wouldn't have had this heart attack. The moral of this story is to lose weight before it kills you!
Is there a Happy Outcome to My Story?
Well, I read everything that Craig Woods had written in his 18 page E-book, cover to cover. Everything he wrote made perfect sense and I thought 'Well, if I have the support from the Elite Weight Loss program behind me I will always have something to refer to instead of floundering around in the dark. I started following everything Craig Woods wrote - word for word. Over a period of 6 months I dropped from 230lbs to 115lbs. I am not going to pretend it was easy - because, it wasn't. It took much more than just discipline, it took self-sacrifice. Of course, I feel much healthier for losing all that weight and I still get an enormous buzz from being able to buy clothes in a size 8 - 10.
Do I miss chocolate and stuff like that? Sometimes - but I have the consolation of knowing that, because of the information I absorbed from the 'Elite Weight Loss' program, I was in control - and that's the way I like it: for the first time in my life I am in control of my eating because I know what I am doing and, if I do succumb to a bar of chocolate, I know how to compensate for it the following day. Am I pleased that I found the 'Elite Weight Loss' program? Oh Yes - thank you Craig, from the bottom of my heart.
